Tao is currently a Doctorate student at the Université de Montréal in Music Interpretation (Piano Performance). She has also studied at the Conservatoire de musique et d'art dramatique du Québec in Piano Performance.

 

She also has a Masters in Piano Performance from The Peabody Institute of the John Hopkins University, one of the premier music schools in North America. 

 

In addition, Tao earned her Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music.

Tao is fluent in English and Mandarin.
